How To De-Friend Someone The Polite Way

unfriend some the polite way

We all have those three or four friends we just can’t stand on our Facebook page. I don’t know why I keep the people I don’t like. Perhaps it’s because I’m terrified that if I ever run into them, they will somehow know that I de-friended them and they will hate me forever. But is this really such a bad thing? I don’t like this person anyway so why do I care what they think of me? There really is an easy way to go about de-friended someone off of your Facebook page. I mean, seriously, it’s so easy. You only have to click like one button. But the aftermath of the de-friending process is what you might need help with. That’s where I come in.

First, click de-friend.

Obviously, your first step is to click the ‘un-friend’ button on Facebook. Don’t worry, this won’t send that person an email or message telling them that you de-friended them. In fact, it does nothing but remove them from your Facebook page. If you don’t like them, they might not like you either. So really, you both might be playing de-friend chicken and you have emerged the winner. Good job.

Next, click unsubscribe.

For some reason, if you de-friend someone now, you also have to click ‘unsubscribe.’ I know, Facebook is totally creepy. Even though I just de-friended this person, they still show up on my news feed because I am still subscribed to their page. What. No. That’s not okay. But thanks. So be sure you click unsubscribe to make sure they aren’t creepily still popping up in your news feed.
Lastly, avoid them at all costs.

Chances are, you might be de-friending someone you met in college and you both have gone your

A Checklist To Use When Hunting For a New Web Hosting Provider

checklist when looking for new web hosting

Choosing a web hosting provider is a big decision. You want to make sure that you find the right type of service that will enable you or your business to achieve all of your online goals. It can also be a challenge to switch to a new web host later on, so if you can, it’s best to make the right decision the first time. In order to make that decision a little easier for you, here’s a checklist to help you through that process. Below are five categories of services to look for in a good web host.

Speed and Space

The first thing you’ll want for your website is a quick loading speed. A slow loading web page will lose you hundreds if not thousands of visitors per day. Web page loading time is affected by two main factors: server speed and storage space. You’ll want to look for a hosting provider with at least a T3 Internet connection. You’ll also want to make sure that your host provides a good amount of bandwidth for your webpage, and offers you the capability to buy more should you start to exceed your limitations. According to www.WebHostingReviews.ca, for most websites, you’ll want at least 20 megabytes of space, and if you’re planning on offering content like streaming videos or high-resolution photo galleries, you’ll want to make sure you have even more space.

Reliability and Security

The two most important factors to look for in a web host are reliability and security. First, you want to minimize, if not eliminate, the potential for downtime. Look for a host that guarantees at least 99.9% up-time for you website. In terms of security, website encryption is a must if you’re planning on selling anything through your website. Look for a host that can provide a dedicated secure server for customer transactions. You’ll also want to make sure that your site is sufficiently backed up by the

10 Tips to Adapt Your Content to Google Panda

The Google Panda update with released in 2011 and was supposed to remove low-quality sites from Google’s search engine results. Google must have been afraid of online reputation managers kicking good websites off if the search engine results because for the first few months the Google Panda only removed the very worst of the worst sites. The sites that hid themselves with the “HideMyAss” program were free to do as they wish. But then, as the angry writers of the world started to fight against the content mills stealing their text, Google Panda notched it up a gear, and content farms and content mills started to not only drop from the Google search engine results, but also started to disappear from servers all together.

google panda seo tips 2013

But there are still people who claim that they do not mean to use Black-hat SEO, and yet are being punished by Google under their Panda update rules. Just telling people to increase the quality of their website is not enough. People need tips that they may implement straight away, so here they are.

1 – Present your content in a way that is user friendly

Your content cannot look like it was written for a search engine. It cannot be one big chunk of text, and you should not have lists of words, or sentences that make sense on their own, but do not make sense when placed next to each other.

2 – Unique content is needed at all times

Google do not have a zero-tolerance policy on duplicate content, but they are not exactly fans of it. They want original content that has not been spun or rewritten from other websites. They want you to produce original content because original is new, and new is useful (at least according to Google).

3 – Try to integrate social media

Again, this is not something that people need to do, so as to beat the panda, but it will help you to recover from a bad Penguin hit.

4 – Do not spin content (Don’t rotate happy)

Spun text is the worst type of text on the planet. It is unreadable and stupid. Just like in the header, a spin-bot turned “Do not spin content” into “Don’t rotate happy” because a computer program does not know the difference between “spin” and “rotate” so thinks it is a great replacement. It also cannot tell the difference between “content” such as the contents of a bag, and “content” as in happy/pleased. So it replaced it with words that make no sense. Copy and paste the title of this article into Google’s search engine results. There is at least two other articles with this name, and one of them is the worst piece of spun crap you have ever read. See if you can spot which one it is (if it is still online).

5 – Do not fake your own comments

Google are wise to the fact that
