Simple, AMOLED stand for Organic Light Emitting Diode. AMOLEDs can be made flexible, or transparent. This display technology use power more efficiently than existing LCD and PDP HDTVs. The pixels are defined by the deposition of the organic material in a continuous, discrete “dot” pattern.
